Ítem Acceso abierto Job stress and professional quality of life in nurses of the intensive care service in a private clinic, Lima-2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2024-01-28) Millan Carrillo, Nancy Patricia; Camarena Chamaya, Luis MiguelIntroduction: Given a growing problem related to work stress in health personnel, it is considered that stress can damage the quality of life of workers, which causes lower work performance. It also states that the origin of this problem may be poor organization. from work. Objective: “Determine the relationship that exists between work stress and the quality of professional life in nurses in the intensive care service of a Private Clinic in Lima, during the year 2023.”. Methods: The type of research will be applied. Design will be observational, descriptive, correlational, prospective and transversal. The population that will be used for the research will consist of nurses from the intensive care service. The research sample will use non-probabilistic convenience sampling, which will be considered by 56 intensive care nurses from the Private Clinic in Lima. To evaluate the variable, the Maslach scale was used to evaluate the “work stress” variable, reliable with a Cronbach’s alpha of 0.794. To evaluate the “quality of professional life” variable, the CVP-35 instrument will be used with a Cronbach’s alpha of 0.937. The data collection technique will be the survey. The results obtained will be processed using statistical programs and will be presented through tables and graphs.
