Ítem Acceso abierto Lifestyle in older adult patients in the hospitalization service of a private clinic Lima - 2020(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2020-10-23) Mirano Goñas, Rosario Erika; Gonzales Saldaña, Susan HaydeeObjective: To determine the lifestyle of elderly patients in the hospitalization service of a Private Clinic in Lima - 2020. Material and method: The study is quantitative, and its methodological design is descriptive-cross-sectional. The participation of 60 elderly adults from the hospitalization service of a private clinic was included. The data collection technique was a survey, and the data collection instrument was the FANTASTICO questionnaire, which assesses lifestyle and consists of 30 statements and 10 dimensions. Results: Regarding the lifestyles of elderly adults, the predominant level was regular, with 35% (n=21). In relation to the dimensions, in the family and friends dimension, the predominant level was excellent, with 80% (n=48). In the activity dimension, the predominant level was good, with 50% (n=30). In the nutrition dimension, the predominant level was poor, with 51.7% (n=31). In the tobacco/toxins dimension, the predominant level was poor, with 51.7% (n=31). In the alcohol and other drugs dimension, the predominant level was "danger exists," with 73.3% (n=44). In the sleep and stress dimension, the predominant level was "danger exists," with 58.3% (n=35). In the work and personality type dimension, the predominant level was regular, with 43.3% (n=26). In the introspection dimension, the predominant level was good, with 33.3% (n=20). In the health control and sexual control dimension, the predominant level was good, with 36.7% (n=22). In other aspects, the predominant level was excellent, with 70% (n=42). Conclusions: The predominant lifestyle level was regular. Regarding its dimensions, the most affected were nutrition, tobacco, toxins, and alcohol.
