    This research aims to establish the relationship between the technological tool "blog" and the production of texts by students. The thesis follows a basic research methodology with mixed descriptive-correlational design, based on the implementation of data collection instruments and literature review, which validates and raises a discussion about the relationship between the technological tool "blog" and the production of texts by the seventh-grade students Institución Educativa la Ceiba in the Municipality of Rovira, Tolima. One of conclusions of this research is that blogs promote a significant improvement in the text-production skills of students, helping writing to become a means of individual, social and cultural communication.
