Ítem Acceso abierto Relationship between musculoskeletal pain and work stress in teachers who do remote work in schools in the SJL district, 2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2024-04-30) Montalvo Peña, Jose Alfredo; Vera Arriola, Juan AméricoThis research's general objective was to determine the relationship between musculoskeletal pain and work-related stress in teachers working remotely from two schools in the district of SJL during 2023. The sample consisted of 100 teachers from two schools in the district of SJL. The tools used were: the Nordic questionnaire by Kourinka and the Maslach Burnout Inventory questionnaire. The results showed that the average age was 49.47 years, with females representing 63.0% of the participants. 99.0% of teachers reported musculoskeletal pain, with the neck being the most affected area (87.0%), and the intensity mostly being low (57.0%). Additionally, 84.0% reported experiencing work-related stress, with varying levels of emotional exhaustion, personal accomplishment, and depersonalization. It was concluded that there is a statistically significant relationship between musculoskeletal pain and work-related stress in its various dimensions (p<0.005).
