Ítem Acceso abierto Emotional impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the nursing staff of the Edgardo Rebagliati Martins National Hospital(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-02-20) Montoya Merino, Vanessa del Carmen; Pretell Aguilar, Rosa MariaThe general objective of this scientific study is to determine the emotional impact of the covid-19 pandemic on the nursing staff of the Edgardo Rebagliati Martins National Hospital, period 2021. Regarding the methodology, this will be as follows: The focus of this scientific study will essentially be quantitative And, the design of this scientific study will be basic, descriptive, non-experimental and transversal. The study sample for this research will be made up of 40 nursing professionals who work in the Adult Emergency area in the aforementioned hospital. Which must meet the sample selection criteria. This number of study subjects was established because the non-probabilistic convenience sampling criterion was used for sampling. For this scientific study, the “Survey” will be used as a technique for collecting key data, which allows acquiring specific information on a specific topic based on specific questions. Finally, for this scientific study, the “closed questionnaire with binomial scale” will be used as an instrument for collecting key data. This instrument was designed and validated by the author Serrano e Ibáñez, in his study on “The prevention of situations of emotional impact in the work environment. Theoretical study and analysis of its impact on health personnel in the autonomous community of Euskadi-Spain. And, the data collection instrument showed a reliability coefficient of 0.920 (High), that is, the instrument is highly reliable.
