Ítem Acceso abierto Quality of nursing care and inpatient satisfaction in the general medicine service at a national hospital in Lima - 2022(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-12-29) Monzon Fuentes, Maria Paula; Gonzales Saldaña, Susan HaydeeObjective: Determine the relationship between the quality of nursing care and the satisfaction of hospitalized patients in the general medicine service of a National Hospital of Lima - 2022. Material and methods: the research work had a quantitative approach, the design used It was correlational and transversal with a longitudinal section. The sample of participants was calculated using the finite formula, which consisted of 80 patients. The technique used to collect data on the two variables was the survey. The instruments used were for the first variable, a questionnaire made up of a total of 35 questions, which were distributed in 3 dimensions and are: human, scientific technical and environment; To study the second variable, a “CARE Q” questionnaire was used, formulated in 46 questions, which were distributed in 6 dimensions and are: accessibility, explains and facilitates, comforts, anticipates, maintains a relationship of trust, and monitors and follows up. . Results: It was obtained that, of the 80 participants, 55% are female and 45% are male. Regarding the analysis of the hypothesis, it was found that there is a significant association between the quality of care and patient satisfaction (p<0.05). Conclusions: According to the results obtained, we can say that there was a significant relationship between the two main variables, which are the quality of care and patient satisfaction. Therefore, it was evidenced that there is a statistical relationship between the quality of nursing care and patient satisfaction in the general medicine service in a national hospital in Lima - 2022.
