For data collection, the technique that will be used will be the survey, and the observation guide, two instruments (knowledge questionnaire-kangaroo mother method and the Practice Observation Guide for nurses on the Kangaroo Method) which will be applied in 2024 at the NICU-National Maternal Perinatal Institute. To process and analyze the data, it will be done in the Statistical Product and Service Solutions V.25 software; relative absolute frequencies will be applied for the analysis of descriptive data of the qualitative variables, for the quantitative variable’s measurements of central tendency and dispersion, Pearson's correlation coefficient to relate the variables knowledge and practice.
