The objective of this study is to determine the relationship between job satisfaction and job performance in health workers in the administrative area of the Sergio E. Bernales National Hospital, 2019. The study is cross-sectional and correlational. In 150 workers, the CHIANG Questionnaire was used to measure job satisfaction and the instrument Performance evaluation and work conduct for job performance. Results: A significant association (p <0.05) was found between job satisfaction and degree of job performance with low correlation and negative (R = -0.169), with respect to the dimension job satisfaction with job performance is significant (p <0 , 05); the degree of correlation is negative and very low (R = -0.183), satisfaction with the physical work environment and job performance is significant (p <0.01) with low and negative correlation (R = -0.213), in the dimension satisfaction with the way in which work is performed and job performance is significant (p <0.05); the degree of correlation is low and negative (R = -0,200), satisfaction with development opportunities and job performance is significant (p <0.05) with a very low degree of correlation and negative (R = -0.184), Satisfaction with subordinate-superior relationship and job performance is significant (p <0.01) with a very low degree of correlation and negative (R = -0.233), and satisfaction with remuneration: there is no relationship, a p> 0.05 was obtained. Conclusion: there is a relationship between job satisfaction and job performance; however, it is low-grade and negative.
