Publicación Acceso abierto Estrategias de aprendizaje y conciencia metacognitiva en estudiantes de tecnología médica de una universidad nacional de Lima Metropolitana, 2022(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-01-27) Mori Porras, Alessandro Giovanni; Palacios Garay, Jessica PaolaThe learning process is one of the most important factors that are evaluated within the models of educational quality, in which various internal and external processes influence, for this reason it is sought to measure the degree of relationship between some of these processes, taking it as reference, the present study sought to establish the correlation between learning strategies and metacognitive awareness, being considered as external and internal processes, respectively. The present study was of a quantitative approach, hypotheticaldeductive method, cross-sectional, applied and correlational type. In which the abbreviated ACRA questionnaire of De la Fuente and Justicia (2003) was used, and the metacognitive awareness questionnaire of Gutiérrez and Montoya (2021). The sample consisted of 90 medical technology students from a national university in metropolitan Lima, who were selected by probabilistic sampling by strata. When performing the hypothesis test, a high, direct and significant relationship was found between the variables studied, which indicates that those students who know a greater number of cognitive and learning control strategies and apply them adequately achieve a higher level of metacognitive awareness favoring their learning process.
