Ítem Acceso abierto Work conditions related to fatigue levels in nursing staff in the emergency department of Leopoldo Barton Hospital - EsSalud, 2018(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2019-05-08) López Gil, Cristina; Moscoso Gaspar, Isabel Rocío; Cárdenas de Fernández, María HildaObjective: Determine the relationship that exists between working conditions and the level of fatigue in the Nursing staff of the Emergency Area of the Leopoldo Barton Hospital - EsSalud, 2018. Material and methods: It is a qualitative, descriptive - correlational and cutting study. cross. The population was made up of 80 Nursing professionals from the Emergency Area. The interview technique was used. Results: Regarding the working conditions of the Nursing staff, 67.5% presented adequate working conditions; followed by 32.5% acceptable conditions; and 0% of inadequate conditions. Regarding the dimensions of working conditions, in individual conditions, 82.5% presented adequate working conditions, followed by 13.75% of acceptable conditions and 3.75% of inadequate conditions. In the intra-work conditions dimension, 48.75% presented adequate working conditions, followed by 47.50% of acceptable conditions and 3.75% of inadequate conditions. In the dimension of non-working conditions, 81.25% presented acceptable working conditions, followed by 18.75% of adequate conditions and 0% of inadequate conditions. In the fatigue variable, 42.5% had a high/regular level of fatigue and 57.5% had a low level of fatigue. Conclusion: There is no relationship between working conditions and fatigue in Nursing staff in the Emergency Area at the Leopoldo Barton Hospital – EsSalud, 2018.
