    Estilo de vida y factores de riesgo en adultos con gastritis atendidos en una botica del distrito de Puente Piedra, Lima 2025

    This study aimed to examine the relationship between lifestyle and risk factors in adults diagnosed with gastritis who were treated at a pharmacy in the Puente Piedra district of Lima during 2025. A hypothetical-deductive method with a quantitative approach was employed, using a non-experimental, cross-sectional design. The population consisted of adults diagnosed with gastritis, and a simple random probabilistic sample was selected. Data were collected through a survey, with a structured questionnaire as the instrument. The results were organized in Excel and analyzed using SPSS version 27. Findings indicated that the predominant age group was 20 to 40 years (52.7%), the majority were male (63.6%), university education was the most common level attained (39.7%), and 50.1% were self-employed. Regarding lifestyle, participants reported some positive dietary practices (53.2%); however, 81.8% experienced occasional poor sleep quality. Concerning harmful habits, a large proportion frequently consumed junk food (71.2%), and 55.3% regularly consumed processed coffee, highlighting significant lifestyle deficiencies. The Spearman’s Rho test confirmed the hypothesis, revealing a statistically significant correlation between lifestyle and gastritis risk factors in adults (Rho = -0.478, p < 0.05).
