Publicación Acceso abierto Estilo de vida y factores de riesgo en adultos con gastritis atendidos en una botica del distrito de Puente Piedra, Lima 2025(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2026-01-09) Carbajal Humpiri, Julisa; Mostacero Pretel, Anderson Jean Pierre; Collantes Tumialan, Yahir Alexander OswaldThis study aimed to examine the relationship between lifestyle and risk factors in adults diagnosed with gastritis who were treated at a pharmacy in the Puente Piedra district of Lima during 2025. A hypothetical-deductive method with a quantitative approach was employed, using a non-experimental, cross-sectional design. The population consisted of adults diagnosed with gastritis, and a simple random probabilistic sample was selected. Data were collected through a survey, with a structured questionnaire as the instrument. The results were organized in Excel and analyzed using SPSS version 27. Findings indicated that the predominant age group was 20 to 40 years (52.7%), the majority were male (63.6%), university education was the most common level attained (39.7%), and 50.1% were self-employed. Regarding lifestyle, participants reported some positive dietary practices (53.2%); however, 81.8% experienced occasional poor sleep quality. Concerning harmful habits, a large proportion frequently consumed junk food (71.2%), and 55.3% regularly consumed processed coffee, highlighting significant lifestyle deficiencies. The Spearman’s Rho test confirmed the hypothesis, revealing a statistically significant correlation between lifestyle and gastritis risk factors in adults (Rho = -0.478, p < 0.05).
