Publicación Acceso abierto Eventos supuestamente atribuibles a la vacunación o inmunización (ESAVI) y características de las vacunas contra el COVID-19 en adultos del distrito de San Isidro 2022(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-06-10) Muñoz Sanchez, Breysson Mijail; Trevejo Rodriguez, Karen Cinthya; Justil Guerrero, Hugo JesúsObjective: To identify the Adverse Events Following Immunization (AEFI) and characteristics of COVID-19 vaccines in adults in the San Isidro district in 2022. Methodology: This was a quantitative, deductive, analytical, applied, and non-experimental study. The technique was observation, and the instrument was a survey applied to 382 patients. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics presented in tables and figures. Results: The findings showed that for local reactions, 86% reported a mild reaction at the injection site, while for somatic reactions, 89% presented a mild reaction. Regarding the type of vaccine, 41.6% indicated they received the AstraZeneca vaccine, and 59.4% received the third dose. For pre-existing conditions, 77.2% had no prior illnesses, aside from stress (7.6%), diabetes (5.0%), and hypertension (2.9%). Conclusion: It was identified that 87.5% of the Adverse Events Following Immunization (AEFI) from COVID-19 vaccines in adults in the San Isidro district in 2022 were of a mild nature.
