An occupational accident is considered to be damage (functional or organic) that temporarily or permanently limits the ability to perform work or the death of a worker, and occupational risk is the possibility that a risky situation or process in the workplace causes an injury or disease, among the most common occupational diseases reported by the World Health Organization (WHO) are disorders of the musculoskeletal system, chronic respiratory diseases, skin problems and hearing loss caused by noise. Biological risks made up of exposure to pathogens, viruses, etc., chemical risks such as toxic and irritating substances manipulated in the work environment, physical risks related to noise, temperature, etc., ergonomic risks which are linked to musculoskeletal injuries. and psychosocial risks represented by working conditions.
