    Knowledge about chronic kidney disease and eating habits of patients in a dialysis center Lima 2023

    Introduction: Chronic Renal Disease is a pathophysiological process of multiple causes, resulting in the inexorable loss of the number and functioning of nephrons, largely due to poor eating habits, the increase of body fat and a sedentary lifestyle, intakes of pills and capsules, without prior medical consultation, falls and blows in anatomical area of the kidney, massive hemorrhage by accidents or operations. Objective: To determine the relationship between knowledge about chronic kidney disease and eating habits, in patients at a dialysis center, Lima 2023. Methodology: Hypothetical deductive method, nonexperimental design, quantitative approach, descriptive type, correlative applied, crosssectional, the sample will consist of a whole population of 80 patients, the instruments to be used for the research work will be the knowledge questionnaire on kidney disease and the eating habits questionnaire, which are already validated, for the first knowledge instrument demonstrated a R Pearson > 0.20, and for the feeding questionnaire a reliability of 0.67, both instruments have a reliability level, for data collection a duration of 30 minutes will be obtained for each participant, Simple tables and bar figures will be used for analysis and interpretation.
