    Estilos de vida y diabetes tipo 2 en adultos atendidos en una botica de ATE, Lima 2023

    The objective of this research is to determine the lifestyles and type 2 diabetes in adults treated at a pharmacy in Ate, Lima, 2023. The hypothetical-deductive method was used, with a quantitative approach, basic research type, non-experimental design, cross-sectional, and correlational level. The population of 385 adults with diabetes was explored and analyzed; the sample was a simple random probability sample. The technique was a survey, and the instrument was a questionnaire. The data obtained were tabulated using codes in Excel, and then exported to SPSS version 25. The statistical results of frequencies for each indicator are as follows: the most frequent age was between 20 and 40 years (62.6%), and the majority were women (53.8%) with technical education (62.1%). On the other hand, it was observed that the Adults mostly present a medium-level lifestyle (90.9%). Similarly, regarding diet, 91.1% have a healthy diet, 58.2% have a low level of physical activity, and unhealthy habits are also present at a low level (58.2%). Lifestyle is related to type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults, and the magnitude of the correlation coefficient (Rho = -0.407) indicates that there is a correlation between lifestyle and type 2 diabetes.
