    Factores asociados con la adherencia al tratamiento antituberculoso en pacientes atendidos en el Hospital Carlos Alcántara. La Molina 2022

    Objective: To analyze the factors associated with adherence to antituberculosis treatment in patients treated at Carlos Alcántara Hospital. The research followed a deductive method, with a quantitative approach and a non-experimental descriptive cross-sectional design. A questionnaire was used as an instrument, and descriptive statistics were processed using SPSS version 26. Results: The factors associated with adherence to antituberculosis treatment in patients at Carlos Alcántara Hospital were analyzed. These included: Socioeconomic factors: level of education (70%). Treatment-related factors: treatment duration (63.8%) and adverse effects (51.3%). Patient-related factors: family/friend support (53.8%), knowledge of their disease (66.3%), and knowledge of the treatment (66.3%). Service and healthcare personnel-related factors: clear information (63.8%). Disease-related factors: specific aspects were also examined. Conclusion: Of the 17 factors analyzed across the five dimensions of the variable, 47% were associated with adherence to antituberculosis treatment in patients treated at Carlos Alcántara Hospital.
