    Emotional intelligence and humanized care of nursing professionals in the intensive care unit in a level III hospital - Lima, 2023

    The purpose of the study is to determine the relationship that exists between emotional intelligence and humanized care of nursing professionals in the Intensive Care Unit in a level III hospital - Lima 2023. This work uses a hypothetical deductive methodology, with quantitative approach, non-experimental design and cross-sectional correlational level, we will work with 80 nurses who work in the Intensive Care Unit in a level III hospital. The TMMS24 emotional intelligence questionnaire proposed by the Slovey and Mayer research group in 1995 will be applied, which has excellent reliability with a Cronbach's Alpha score of 0.94. The second Instrument “Caring Efficacy Scale” (1992) developed by Carolie Coates in Colorado - United States in 1992 and at the national level was validated by Casimiro in 2016, through a judgment of 05 experts where a Cronbach's Alpha reliability of 0.875 was obtained. indicating a “respectable high” internal consistency. Once the data collection is completed, each of the survey items will be entered into an Excel database for subsequent statistical analysis, which will be carried out in the SPSS statistical program version 25. To analyze the relationship between the variables, we will work with statisticians. relationship test such as Pearson or non-parametric tests such as Spearman's Rho.
