Publicación Acceso abierto Influencia de la inteligencia artificial en el conocimiento sobre la educación sexual y el uso de anticonceptivos en comerciantes y trabajadores del mercado Carolina de Chiclayo. Año - 2025(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2025-12-17) Nuñez Tafur, Lusbet Yaqueli; Rodriguez Ticlla, Ida; Alvarado Pinedo, Carlos MarvinThe objective of this study is to examine how artificial intelligence influences knowledge about sexuality education (SE) and the use of contraceptive methods among vendors and workers at the Carolina Market in Chiclayo. This study considers that these technological tools can facilitate access to reliable information and reinforce informed decision-making regarding sexual health issues. Methodology: This basic research is hypothetical-deductive method, quantitative design, non-experimental, explanatory scope Cause-effect, to a finite sample of 198 merchants and workers. The main results indicate that the sample presented an almost equitable gender distribution (50.4% females and 49.6% males), highlighting a predominance of secondary school (58.6%). Based on artificial intelligence (AI), the majority of respondents (60.8%) reported using it only "sometimes" to search for information on sex education, with search engines with AI being the most used platform (92%). A finding of special significance is the perception of ease of access to information, where half of the participants (50.4%) considered it "very easy" to find information on sex education using AI, compared to a minimal proportion (0.8) who perceived it as "very difficult". It is concluded that artificial intelligence will significantly influence the increase in knowledge about sexual education and the use of contraceptives among merchants and workers at the Carolina market in Chiclayo by 2025.
