Publicación Acceso abierto Interés y conocimiento sobre el soporte nutricional parenteral del profesional químico farmacéutico del Hospital Regional Lambayeque, 2024(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2025-10-02) Oblitas Guerrero, Luz Aurora; Ñañez del Pino, DanielThe purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between interest and knowledge about parenteral nutritional support among pharmaceutical chemists working at the Regional Hospital of Lambayeque. The study was a basic, quantitative and cross-sectional design, with a sample of 30 pharmaceutical chemists who responded to two questionnaires. Regarding the characteristics of the population, it was found that the majority was made up of women (63.3%). On the other hand, 60% of the respondents presented a regular level of interest. Regarding the motivation dimension, 43.3 % reached a regular level; while, in the attitudes dimension, all participants showed a high level; and in the experiences and links dimension, the regular level predominated, with 80 %. In relation to the knowledge variable, it was predominantly high (56.7%). It was identified that those with high motivation tended to exhibit regular knowledge (26.67%). Similarly, those with high attitudes had a greater presence among those with high knowledge (56.67%). Likewise, in the dimension experiences and links, the regular level predominated (80%), of which 50% had high knowledge. However, no significant difference was found between the variables (rho = -0.245; p = 0.193), nor between the aforementioned dimensions and knowledge. In conclusion, there is no significant relationship between interest and knowledge in the population studied.
