The objective was to determine the relationship between pharmaceutical advertising and the consumption of OTC medications among users of the SUPERFAR drugstore in Barrios Altos, Cercado de Lima, in 2022. The methodology used was a quantitative approach, a non-experimental cross-sectional design, and a correlational scope. The sample consisted of 269 users, who were administered a 20-question questionnaire via the survey technique. SPSS Version 22 was used for the results, and Spearman's correlation test was used at a 5% significance level. The correlation for the general hypothesis was determined, yielding a p-value of 0.000 and a Spearman's Rho value of r= 0.729, indicating a strong and direct correlation between the two variables. Conclusion: A significant relationship was established between both variables.
