    During recent years, the evaluation of patient satisfaction has become progressively more interesting for a number of researchers in the evaluation of the care provided by nursing staff. Evaluation is one of the most critical phases of the nursing process because it supports the basis of the usefulness and effectiveness of the practice. Satisfaction related to the care provided by the nurse is an indicator of a good patient prognosis and a definitive determinant of the quality of healthcare in the hospital. Therefore, evaluating the level of user satisfaction with the nurse's service provision is essential to improve the patient's perception after being treated. In emergency units, nursing professionals are often the patient's first contact and the relationship established can be decisive in the patient's satisfaction with the hospital. Patient satisfaction is generally used as an indicator of the quality of service provided in the emergency department and depends on satisfying the demands and expectations of patients.
