Publicación Acceso abierto Factores asociados y seguridad alimentaria en pacientes embarazadas en el Hospital Ramón Castilla II, 2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2024-03-14) Olivera Caballero, Gerti Myrella; Maguiña Palma, Misael EriksonThe general objective of the study was to determine the relationship between the associated factors and food safety in pregnant patients at the Hospital Ramón Castilla II, 2023. It was a study with a quantitative approach, correlational level and non-experimental design in which a questionnaire of associated factors was applied. designed in this study and the Latin American and Caribbean Food Safety Scale (ELCSA) to a sample of 210 pregnant women out of a population of 380 who receive monthly care at the institution. It was found that 66.2% of pregnant women have food insecurity. Among the sociodemographic factors, living with more than 6 people (OR=10,233), having 4 or more children (OR=9,843), living in rural areas (OR=4,932) and being single (OR=4,532) stand out as risk factors. Among the economic ones, it stands out not having a job (OR=6,662), not having an income (OR=7,320) and not having help from institutions (OR=4,033). The cultural risk factors are schooling up to primary school (OR=5,523), schooling up to secondary school (OR=3,341) and belief in myths related to food in pregnant women (OR=1,140). Finally, as obstetric factors, it was found that the intergenic period of less than one year (OR=6,223), being in the third trimester of pregnancy (OR=3,449) and having some pregnancy complication (OR=3,726) are at risk; in all cases p<0.050. It was concluded that there is a relationship between the associated factors and food security, being the aforementioned risk factors for pregnant women to suffer from food insecurity.Publicación Acceso abierto Nivel de conocimiento y uso de formulaciones antisépticas frente al COVID-19 en usuarios de la botica Letidan R & Ch del distrito de Carabayllo, Lima 2021(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-09-06) Amaro Jaco, Diana Luz; Olivera Caballero, Gerti Myrella; Cano Pérez, Carlos AlfredoThe objective of this study was to evaluate the level of knowledge and use of antiseptic formulations for COVID-19 among users of the Letidan R & Ch drugstore in the district of Carabayllo. Methodology: This was a quantitative, deductive, applied, observational, cross-sectional study. The technique was a survey, and the instrument was a questionnaire applied to 270 users in person. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics presented in tables and figures. Results: Of the 270 users surveyed, 50.9% showed a regular level of knowledge regarding antiseptic formulations for COVID-19. When analyzing knowledge level by educational background, 35.7% had a regular knowledge level, while 9.9% with a secondary education misused the formulas, and 31.8% with a higher education level used them correctly. Conclusion: A regular knowledge level was found in the majority of the population, at 55.5%. Of the total surveyed, 62.5% made proper use of the formulas. The study also found that 35.7% of those with a regular level of knowledge and education made proper use of the antiseptic formulas, and 37.5% of the population with a higher education level made proper use.
