Ítem Acceso abierto Knowledge and attitude of nursing staff regarding the kangaroo method in premature infants in the neonatal intensive care unit of a public hospital in Yurimaguas, 2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-10-22) Olivera Satalaya, Sandra Paola; Camarena Chamaya, Luis MiguelIntroduction: Nursing professionals have a fundamental role in the care of a premature child, for the restoration of his health, adopting techniques or methods that contribute to his recovery, therefore the objective of the study was focused on Analyzing the relationship of the level of knowledge and attitude of nursing staff of the kangaroo method in premature Neonatal Intensive Care of a public hospital in Yurimaguas-2023. Method: It will use a hypothetical deductive method allowing to identify the phenomenon, with a quantitative approach and an applied type directly identifying the variable, likewise with a non-experimental design with a correlational scope. The study will have a sample of 80 nurses from the neonatology service of the intensive care unit, the data collection will be given through two instruments for the knowledge variable elaborated by Márquez and the instrument of attitudes by Huallcapuma, both instruments had the validity and reliability process appropriate for your application. The analysis method will be given in two descriptive processes through the representation of tables and graphs and an inferential one that will go through a normality test to determine the type of correlation coefficient that will be used for the relationship of the variables.
