    Family satisfaction about nursing care of patients discharged from the intensive care unit, Huacho Regional Hospital – 2020.

    ICU patients, due to their severity, are unable to actively participate in their recovery, so decisions are often made by their families, who understand and can express the desires, concerns, or experiences of the sick relative. The research is important as it contributes to healthcare service management from the perspective of quality of care, a key factor in the satisfaction with the healthcare provided to the family member, which is an essential component of the healthcare model. Objective: To determine the family satisfaction with nursing care for patients discharged from the ICU at the Regional Hospital of Huacho – 2020. Materials and methods: A quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional study will be conducted. The population consists of 90 patients, and the sample includes 80 family members of ICU patients discharged according to inclusion and exclusion criteria. The technique is the survey, and the instrument used will be the FS-ICU questionnaire. Statistical analysis will be performed using SPSS 26.0 software.
