In such a situation, the concern arises regarding the attitude of nurses, as beyond professional expertise and required procedures, they face a situation that can generate various emotional and psychological reactions that need to be understood and controlled or reversed, as they can harm not only them but also the people they care for, the families, and the entire healthcare system. Objective: To determine the attitude of nurses towards the death of patients in the Emergency Service of the Edgardo Rebagliati Martins Hospital, Lima - 2020. Material and Method: The research is quantitative, basic, with a descriptive design, as it aims to detail as precisely as possible the characteristics of the study variable and is cross-sectional. The population is 230 nurses working in the Emergency Service of the Edgardo Rebagliati Martins Hospital, and the instrument used is the questionnaire.
