    Knowledge and practices of prevention of iron deficiency anemia in mothers of children from 6 to 12 months in the Amarilis primary care center, Essalud - Huánuco, 2021

    This research work focuses on a problem of utmost relevance today, since the knowledge and practice of mothers to prevent iron deficiency anemia in children aged 6 to 12 months is essential to ensure the adequate and normal growth and development of infants, aspects that are addressed by nursing professionals through various actions such as nutritional counseling and constant monitoring as part of the health care and comprehensive development carried out in the CRED area. Objective: to determine the relationship between knowledge and practices for the prevention of iron deficiency anemia in mothers of children aged 6 to 12 months at the Amarilis Primary Care Center, Essalud - Huánuco, 2021. Materials and methods: the approach will be quantitative, applied, with a descriptive-correlational scope and a non-experimental-cross-sectional design. The sample will be 50 mothers. The technique will be the survey and the instruments will be two questionnaires, one to measure the knowledge variable and another for the practical variable of prevention of iron deficiency anemia in children from 6 to 12 months.
