Materials and Methods: This is a descriptive, observational, and cross-sectional study conducted with a population of 122 pregnant women. The influence of obstetric psychoprophylaxis on the attitude of pregnant women during the active phase of labor was compared between 54 women who received obstetric psychoprophylaxis and the group that did not. The instrument used for evaluation was a validated test to assess attitude during labor. Results: Of the participants who received preparation, 72% demonstrated good relaxation, while 96% of the group without psychoprophylaxis did not achieve good relaxation. Moreover, 80% of pregnant women with psychoprophylaxis breathed properly, compared to 94% of the group without preparation, who did not breathe properly. Additionally, 93% of the group with preparation identified and managed contractions, unlike the group without preparation, where only 28% identified and managed contractions. Among those prepared, only 20% required the presence of a person during labor, compared to 97% of the unprepared group who required someone by their side. Conclusion: Psychoprophylactic preparation significantly influences the attitude of adolescent pregnant women during the active phase of labor. Keywords: Obstetric psychoprophylaxis, active phase of labor, attitude.
