Ítem Acceso abierto Work stress and family functionality in the nursing professional of a hospital of Lima province – 2020.(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2020-12-27) Osorio Retuerto, Haydee Maribel; Arevalo Marcos, Rodolfo AmadoIntroduction: According to the ILO (International Labour Organization), in recent years, technological advancements have changed the way work is performed, leading to significant health issues for nursing professionals, such as work-related stress, which in turn affects family relationships. Objective: To determine the relationship between work-related stress and family functionality among nursing professionals in a hospital in Lima Provinces - 2020. Methodology: A descriptive, non-experimental, cross-sectional study will be conducted. The study population will consist of 118 professionals, all nurses working at the hospital. The Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI) questionnaire will be used as an instrument to measure work-related stress and its 3 dimensions: Emotional Exhaustion, Personal Accomplishment, and Depersonalization. The family functionality will be assessed using the APGAR Family questionnaire, covering its 5 dimensions: Adaptation, Participation, Satisfaction, Affection, and Resources. The data collected will be tabulated and statistically processed using the SPSS 25.0 statistical software and Excel.
