    Medical education is a social process of great importance and complexity, currently higher education in its various areas faces innumerable challenges and has been acquiring various transformations over time to achieve a comprehensive training of health professionals. Due to this, there is an accelerated increase in the number of studies on medical education today due to the fact that they focus their interest and relevance on continuous assessment, taking into account the learning climate for doctors in training, i.e. resident doctors in each area. There is also a need for objective measures to support outcome-based education. Objectives: To establish the relationship between the learning climate and the acquisition of endoscopic competencies in sinus surgery in Otorhinolaryngology residents in 2021. Material and Methods: The present study was mixed, the quantitative part complied with the rigor of the scientific method based on the application of validated instruments, with respect to the learning climate it will be measured, through the questionnaire Theater Learning Environment for Basic Surgical Trainees and the competencies They were evaluated using the ESSCAT matrix and the qualitative part was based on a semi-structured guided interview.
