    The objective of this research thesis was to identify the toxicological risk of lead in water consumed by the residents of the 'Guayabo' rural town center in the Pachacámac district. The Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry method was used for water analysis, and the Health Risk Assessment methodology was developed. The average lead concentration was 0.095 mg/L±0.014 mg/L, with a minimum value of 0.070 mg/L and a maximum value of 0.113 mg/L. These values exceed the Permissible Limit Values (PLVs) of the WHO and the Water Quality Regulation. Following the concentration measurements, the Health Risk Assessment was applied, calculating the exposure dose, which was 0.002714 mg/kg/L for adults and 0.0095 mg/kg/L for children aged 4 to 8 years. The exposure factor was 1. The hazard quotient (HQ) determined was 0.452 for adults and 1.583 for children. Conclusion: No toxicological risk exists for adults; however, a toxicological risk does exist for children, as the HQ quotient is greater than 1.
