Materials and methods: The study was hypothetical deductive, with a quantitative approach, descriptive correlational, cross-sectional design. The sample was made up of 108 parents. The instruments applied were the Questionnaire on the level of knowledge about immunization of Karen Melo and Magali Chun created in 2020 and the documentary analysis sheet created by the Ministry of Health in 2018. Results: The predominant level for variable 1 was high (97.2%), compared to a low level (2.8%). For variable 2, the level that prevailed was the medium (51.9%), followed by the low level (38%) and the high level (10.2%). According to the dimensions, mothers present a high level of knowledge according to their vaccination schedule dimension (50.0%) and medium levels in the importance of vaccines (66.7%) and adverse effects (66.7%). Regarding the correlation of the variables, there was no evidence in this regard, except between how important the antigens are and their calendar fulfilled with a p-value=.021<0.05. Conclusions: The variables in question are phenomena that do not have any interdependence between themselves.
