    Adherencia a la terapia farmacológica y sus factores asociados en pacientes con tuberculosis del programa de TBC en un centro de salud de Lima Metropolitana, 2021

    Currently, poor adherence to treatment for chronic diseases is a global problem of alarming magnitude. In Peru, where public hospitals are often precarious and medicines are scarce, medical staff are redoubling their efforts to keep patients on track with their treatments. This research aims to determine the relationship between adherence to pharmacological therapy and associated factors in patients with tuberculosis from the TBC program at a health center in Metropolitan Lima in 2021. The research methodology is based on a quantitative approach, with a basic study type, a correlational level, and a non-experimental, cross-sectional design. The population consists of 300 patients undergoing TBC treatment at Emergencia Grau Hospital from January to August 2021. The sample, obtained through a simple probabilistic sampling method, is 170 patients. Data will be collected using the survey technique. Accordingly, the research instruments consist of two questionnaires: the Therapeutic Adherence Scale (TAS) and the Questionnaire on Factors Associated with Therapeutic Adherence.
