    Of the 10 articles reviewed, 50% (5/10) correspond to the methodological design of a systematic review and 50% (5/10) are descriptive studies. Of the 10 articles systematically reviewed, 80% affirm that family visits improve the health of critically ill patients, while 20% indicate that family visits hinder health improvement.
