This can lead to pre-analytical errors. Objectives: To assess the knowledge level regarding venous and capillary blood sample collection in infants and children among laboratory workers at various health centers in DIRIS Lima Centro, Lima 2023. Materials and Methods: A quantitative, descriptive, prospective, and cross-sectional study involving 31 medical technologists working in 24 different health centers. Results: The level of knowledge was high in 67.74%, with specific percentages regarding patient identification, antisepsis, tourniquet use, and proper capillary puncture technique. Conclusions: Most workers had high knowledge, but moderate levels were observed in patient identification and tube homogenization.
