Materials and Methods: Observational and retrospective systematic review, synthesizing the results of 10 scientific articles from the following databases: Lilacs, PubMed, Medline, Ebsco, ScienceDirect, Cochrane Plus, and using the GRADE system to assign quality and strength of recommendation. Results: Of the 10 articles reviewed, 40% (4) are experimental design, 50% (5) are observational, and 10% (1) are descriptive. All articles were international, and 100% (10/10) confirm the effectiveness of nitrous oxide for sedoanalgesia in pediatric patients in emergency procedures.
