Ítem Acceso abierto Knowledge and practice on advanced CPR of the nursing professional in the emergency area of a hospital in Callao, 2024(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2024-07-21) Pallin Tume, Reynaldo Grey; Pretell Aguilar, Rosa MaríaObjective: To determine the relationship between advanced CPR knowledge and nursing practice in the emergency area of a hospital in Callao, 2024. Material and Method: The study follows a hypothetical-deductive method, with a quantitative, applied, and correlational approach. The population consists of 135 nursing professionals working in the emergency department of a hospital in Callao, from which a sample of 100 participants was drawn. The survey technique was employed, using a Likert scale instrument comprising two questionnaires: (1) "Nursing Knowledge of Advanced CPR" and (2) "Nurses’ Practice in Advanced Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation." The content validity of these instruments was confirmed through expert judgment, and reliability was tested using Cronbach's alpha, yielding a value of 0.80 for both variables, indicating excellent reliability according to the Kuder-Richardson classification table. Data processing was conducted using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) version 25. Data were coded, organized into a matrix table, and separated by dimensions and variables to generate statistical information in numerical, percentage, and tabular formats, including frequency distributions.
