Ítem Acceso abierto Quality of life related to health in high school students of the educational institution Gustavo Mohme Llona, Puente Piedra - 2019(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2020-03-05) Palomino Castro, Kataleen Marsha; Cárdenas de Fernández, María HildaObjective: To determine the health-related quality of life in high school students of the Gustavo Mohme Llona Educational Institution, Puente Piedra - 2019. Material and method: The study is quantitative, descriptive and cross-sectional, the population was 456 high school adolescents. The technique was the survey and the instrument was the KIDSCREEN-52 questionnaire, which includes 52 items grouped into 10 dimensions. Results: The health-related quality of life in students, the middle level predominated with 414 (90.8%) adolescents, followed by the low level with 32 (7%) adolescents and the high level with 10 (2.2%) adolescents. Regarding the dimensions studied, students present physical well-being (60.3%), psychological well-being (55.3%), mood and emotions (48%), self-perception (77.9%), autonomy (59.9%), relationship with parents (57.9%), economic resources (52.2%), friends and social support (49.6%), social rejection (61%); in all dimensions students reached the average level except for the social environment dimension where the low level predominated (51.1%). Conclusions: In relation to the variable quality of life related to health, the average level prevails, followed by low and high. In relation to the dimensions, the average level prevailed in all, except for the social environment where the low level predominated.
