Publicación Acceso abierto Nivel de satisfacción y la atención farmacéutica en los adultos mayores de la farmacia de consultorios externos del Hospital Nacional Dos de Mayo. Lima, 2022(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-09-28) Flores Davalos, Nicolasa Ana Maria; Pariahuaman Cieza, Carolina; Parreño Tipián, Juan ManuelPatient satisfaction is essential for the development of pharmaceutical care, which requires an instrument to evaluate the outcomes of such care. Objective: The research aimed to determine the satisfaction level of older adults who required pharmaceutical care services provided at outpatient pharmacies and to identify potential deficiencies that could be improved for the benefit of both patients and the department, with the results being analyzed. Methodology: The hypothetical-deductive method was used, with a quantitative approach, basic type, non-experimental design, cross-sectional scope, and correlational reach, which allowed the relationship between satisfaction level and pharmaceutical care to be assessed. The study involved 178 patients at the National Dos de Mayo Hospital. The instruments used included the External Consultation User Satisfaction Questionnaire (SUCE), adapted to the study population, and the Pharmaceutical Care Questionnaire. Data were analyzed using SPSS 25 and Spearman’s correlation test. Results: The results focused on patients aged 60 to 65, showing a moderate correlation (Spearman’s Rho = 0.355) between satisfaction level and pharmaceutical care. Conclusion: It was concluded that there is a moderate correlation between patient satisfaction and pharmaceutical care.
