(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2025-03-27) Quispe Rodas, Luz Ximena; Parreño Tipián, Juan Manuel
Objective: "To determine the relationship between intestinal parasitosis and nutritional status in children aged 3 to 5 years." Methodology: Hypothetical-deductive, quantitative, basic research, descriptive, cross-sectional, correlational level study. Results: According to the results of our hypothesis test, a value of sig.= 0,737 has been obtained, which is greater than our chosen 0,05, with which it can be determined that there is no relationship between intestinal parasitosis and nutritional status. A value of sig.= 0,115 has been obtained, which is greater than our chosen 0,05, with which it can be determined that there is no relationship between intestinal protozoa infestation and anthropometric markers in children aged 3 to 5 years. Likewise, a value of sig.= 0,000 has been obtained, with which we can determine that there is a relationship between intestinal infestation by intestinal protozoa and hemoglobin and hematocrit levels in children aged 3 to 5 years. Also, a value of sig.= 0,390 has been obtained, it was determined that there is no relationship between intestinal helminth infestation and anthropometric markers in children aged 3 to 5 years. On the other hand, a value of sig.= 0,000 has been obtained, determining that there is a relationship between intestinal helminth infestation and hemoglobin and hematocrit levels in children aged 3 to 5 years. Conclusions: It is concluded that gastrointestinal infestations caused by parasites that can live in other parts of the body besides the gastrointestinal tract are not related to a person's health level, their ability to perform daily tasks, and resistance to diseases as a result of food and nutrient intake.

(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2024-10-02) Ureta Medina, Ketty Amelia; Parreño Tipián, Juan Manuel
A correlational study was conducted to evaluate the relationship between internal benchmarking and the reduction of inspection findings in two pharmacy chains in Metropolitan Lima over a period of 16 months. 180 inspection reports were analyzed using document analysis and SPSS software. The results indicate a low correlation (Cramer's V = 0.296) between the two variables. Although the relationship is not very strong, the findings suggest a positive trend: as the application of internal benchmarking intensifies, a decrease in the number of inspection findings is observed. However, further research with larger samples is required to draw more robust conclusions. This study provides preliminary evidence on the usefulness of internal benchmarking as a tool to improve regulatory compliance in the pharmaceutical sector.

(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2018-08-27) Taipe Yépez, Vanessa Esperanza; Vivanco Contreras, Gissela; Parreño Tipián, Juan Manuel
The term pseudoanemia refers to an anemic condition observed in individuals who regularly engage in physical activity. Therefore, it is necessary to correctly differentiate a pseudoanemia of physiological origin from a true anemia. The objective was to determine the corpuscular constants in the selected athletes of the FDPB, year 2017. The population consisted of 50 male boxers selected from the FDPB, with a sample of 35 boxers. The research was observational, descriptive, and cross-sectional. To determine the corpuscular constants, it was necessary to measure the values of red blood cell count, hemoglobin, and hematocrit. These were determined using the hematimetric, cyanmethemoglobin, and microhematocrit methods, respectively. The results were processed using the SPSS v23.0 program. Regarding the corpuscular constants, alterations were found only in MCH and MCHC. For MCH, 3% (1) had decreased values and 9% (3) had increased values. For MCHC, 29% (10) presented decreased values. With respect to hemoglobin, hematocrit, and red blood cell count, 23% (8), 17% (6), and 23% (8), respectively, showed decreased values. We conclude that the hematological parameters found were predominantly within normal values; however, it is necessary to pay attention to some that showed slight variations.
