Ítem Acceso abierto Emotional impact on health personnel in the intensive surveillance unit for Covid-19 of a hospital in Lima, 2021(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2021-09-26) Pascual García, Luis Armando; Arevalo Marcos, Rodolfo AmadoThe pandemic has caused multiple damages, starting with physical and emotional health, economic, work, etc., a person cannot carry out their daily tasks if they do not have adequate mental health and even less so if that person is health personnel since they work caring for and healing people, any bad decision made by these personnel could cause serious consequences, the emotional impact caused by caring for conglomerates of sick people, not only strangers, but also family members, lack of supplies, large number of deaths, among other stressful situations, cause emotions that are nothing favorable for mental health, such as anxiety, stress and depression. The present research project will be developed with the objective of determining the emotional impact on the health personnel of the intensive surveillance unit for COVID-19 in a hospital in Lima, 2020. The study has a quantitative, descriptive, observational and cross-sectional design. The study population will be made up of a total of 50 health personnel who work in the intensive care unit of a hospital in Lima. Data collection technique and instrument: a questionnaire will be used which has 21 questions.
