They are a fundamental part of evidence-based nursing due to their rigorous methodology, establishing relevant studies to answer specific questions of clinical practice, the search has been integrated into complete and selected articles, using the GRADE system to ensure non-recommendation. The 10 articles talk about the effectiveness of educational interventions to improve the quality of life of the elderly and thus avoid risks and consequently dependency. Of the 100%, 30% are from Spain, 20% are from the USA, 10% are from Australia, 10% are from Germany, 10% are from Canada and 10% are from Cuba, 10% are from France. Therefore, 100% of the study design are systematic review. Conclusions: The systematic evidence of the ten scientific articles on the effectiveness of educational intervention for older adults to prevent, was found in the following databases Scielo, Redalyc Lilacs, Lipecs, Pubmed, Medline, Ebsco, Cochrane Plus, Epistemonikos, All of them correspond to the type and research design of systematic, experimental reviews. Results: The ten articles reviewed, 100% (n=10/10) show that the effectiveness of the educational intervention for older adults to prevent falls is effective because it improves the knowledge of the older adult as well as reducing the risk of falling and fear, thus leading the person to live in a healthy environment.
