The present research aims to determine what relationship exists between the level of knowledge and the application of the body mechanics technique in the health personnel of the intensive care unit of a hospital in Barranca, 2024. The study method is hypothetical-deductive, quantitative, correlational and cross-sectional. The population will be finite where the census sample will be the 50 professionals working in the intensive care unit of a hospital in Barranca. The survey and observation technique will be applied using the questionnaire and checklist instruments developed by Gómez and Macedo in 2018 and modified by Bustamante in 2020. The data collected will be processed in SPSS 25 and the Pearson correlation statistical test will be used to test the hypotheses.
