    Competencias clínicas y desempeño académico en estudiantes de terapia física de una Universidad Privada en Lima, 2023

    The achievement of competencies in students is very important, since it allows them to perform adequately in the clinical field. In this sense, the objective of the research was to determine the relationship between clinical competencies and academic performance in Physical Therapy students of the ninth and tenth cycle of a Private University in Lima, 2023; The type was applied, with a non-experimental design, quantitative approach and correlational scope; 84 Physical Therapy students were considered as a census sample and the instrument used was the clinical competencies questionnaire by Torres et al. (2016) to evaluate the level of clinical competencies; while to measure academic performance, the students' grades provided by the teachers were taken. The results showed that there is a significant relationship between both variables since the significance value was direct and moderate, as well as the Spearman coefficient is 0.246; which allowed us to conclude that there is a positive relationship between clinical competencies and academic performance.
