Ítem Acceso abierto Evidence-based nursing care of the neonate with endotracheal tube(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 1905-07-09) Alarcón Cordero, Patricia Elsa; Peña Espinoza, Leyssi Claribell; Bonilla Asalde, César AntonioObjective: To synthesize nursing care in neonates with endotracheal tube based on evidence. Materials and Methods: Observational and retrospective systematic review, which synthesizes the results of multiple primary investigations. They are an essential part of evidence-based nursing due to their rigorous methodology, identifying relevant studies to answer specific questions of clinical practice, the search has been restricted to articles with full text, and the selected articles were subjected to critical reading. using the grade system to assign recommendation strength. In the final selection, 10 articles were chosen, we found that 30% (03) correspond to Spain, with 20% (02) to the Country of Italy, while 50% (05) to Australia, Denmark, Mexico, Colombia and Iran. Of the total number of articles analyzed, 100% affirm that nursing care in neonates with an endotracheal tube is effective when performed on newborns with mechanical ventilation in intensive care units. Results The prone position favors oxygenation in neonates with an endotracheal tube. It is important to apply preventive pain measures before any procedure. Care for neurodevelopment includes interventions aimed at improving both the light and noise environment, as well as the microenvironment in which the child develops. Conclusions: It was evident in the research reviewed, it is concluded that nursing care in neonates with endotracheal tube based on evidence are effective.Ítem Acceso abierto Nursing care of newborns with endotracheal tubes based on evidence.(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2017-08-05) Alarcón Cordero, Patricia Elsa; Peña Espinoza, Leyssi Claribell; Bonilla Asalde, César AntonioSynthesize Nursing Care in Neonates with Endotracheal Tube Based on Evidence Materials and methods: An observational and retrospective systematic review was conducted, synthesizing the results of multiple primary studies. These studies are an essential part of evidence-based nursing due to their rigorous methodology, identifying relevant studies to answer specific clinical practice questions. The search was limited to full-text articles, and the selected articles were subjected to a critical review using the GRADE system to assign the strength of recommendations. Results: In the final selection, 10 articles were chosen, with 30% (3) from Spain, 20% (2) from Italy, and 50% (5) from countries such as Australia, Denmark, Mexico, Colombia, and Iran. Most of the studies were systematic reviews (60%), primarily from Italy, Spain, Australia, Mexico, and Colombia. Clinical trials were found in 20% (2) from Spain, and 10% (1) from Denmark. One analytical study (10%) was from Iran. From the total analyzed articles, 40% affirm that endotracheal suctioning is effective when performed as needed for neonates with mechanical ventilation in intensive care units. 10% (1) state that the prone position improves oxygenation in neonates with endotracheal tubes. 10% (1) emphasize the importance of applying preventive pain measures before any procedure. 10% (1) highlight that neurodevelopmental care includes interventions aimed at improving both the lighting, noise, and microenvironment in which the neonate develops. Conclusions: The evidence-based nursing care for neonates with endotracheal tubes was found to be effective in the reviewed studies.
