Ítem Acceso abierto Effectiveness of educational intervention in preventing low back pain in healthcare workers(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2019-11-24) Dios Zavaleta, Cristina Yomali; Perales Aguilar, Fabiola Carmen Elisa; Calsin Pacompia, WilmerObjectives: Analyze and synthesize the evidence on the effectiveness of educational intervention for the prevention of low back pain in health personnel. Materials and Methods: The type of research was quantitative, the study design was a systematic review, the population was 113 articles, and the sample was 10 scientific articles published and indexed in scientific databases, the instrument was a search based data: Scielo, Tripdatabase, Dialnet, Sciencedirect, Pubmed, to evaluate the articles the GRADE system was used which evaluated the quality of evidence and the strength of recommendation. Results: Comparison tests showed a significant change in the reduction of low back pain intensity after the multidisciplinary program. But at the same time they emphasize the need to carry out studies with higher quality of evidence on educational interventions that aim to reduce the high rates of injuries and low back pain in health workers. Conclusion: It was concluded that 50% of authors point out the effectiveness of educational intervention for the prevention of low back pain in health personnel, because it helps to improve quality of life, functional disability, functional disability, in turn this can induce positive changes in the perception of self-efficacy by adopting appropriate body postures for the prevention and reduction of the intensity of low back pain. 50% of the studies conclude that educational intervention for the prevention of low back pain in health personnel is not effective because it does not help prevent low back injuries and reduce pain.
