Ítem Acceso abierto Effectiveness of interventions to prevent burnout syndrome in intensive care nursing staff(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2015-10-25) Perez Camones, Jonathan Bernabe; Canales Rimachi, Reyda IsmaelaObjective: Systematize the evidence on the effectiveness of interventions to prevent Burnout Syndrome in intensive care nursing staff. Materials and Methods: The work was a systematic review. The sample consisted of 10 articles, consulted in databases of scientific relevance in the field of health. Results: 40% of the articles were systematic reviews, another 40% were experimental studies of randomized controlled trials and only 20% were cross-sectional descriptive studies, all provided evidence in favor of the fact that Burnout Syndrome (BS) is preventable through various multidimensional interventions, the same ones that have demonstrated effectiveness in intensive care nursing staff. These SB prevention interventions are focused on improving the environment and environmental culture of the ICU and on helping individual professionals to face their environment in its different dimensions. Conclusions: There is strong, high-quality evidence in favor of the effectiveness of interventions to prevent Burnout Syndrome in intensive care nursing staff.
