    Percepciones sobre la motivación y desempeño docente en estudiantes de educación de una universidad privada de Puno, 2023

    The objective of this study was to analyze the perceptions of education students about the motivation and performance of teachers at a private university in Puno, 2023. The methodology was framed under the qualitative approach, the inductive method, the study design multiple case; The type of sampling was non-probabilistic for convenience, the sample was made up of 8 participants, Education students in their third year of studies at the Faculty of Human Sciences of a private university in Puno. The technique was the semi-structured interview and the interview guide as an instrument; In the data analysis proposal, the Atlas.ti.9 software was used; The results obtained indicated, from the perceptions of the students of the professional school of education of a private university, that some teachers presented little intrinsic motivation in the process of teaching and research and are exposed to extrinsic motivation because the university provides them with incentives for excelling in their teaching performance; However, these incentives are received by a few teachers. Likewise, it was found that only some teachers meet the needs of their students, demonstrating responsibility in their pedagogical work, planning their learning sessions and showing job satisfaction. Concluding that, some teachers, since they do not mainly have intrinsic motivation, do not perform well in their pedagogical practice.
