Ítem Acceso abierto Organizational climate and patient safety culture in intensive care unit nurses in a national hospital 2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-11-26) Pilco Roman, Katiuska; Pretell Aguilar, Rosa MaríaObjective: Objective: “To determine the relationship between the organizational climate and the culture of patient safety with respect to the nursing professional", the population will be composed of 65 nursing professionals working in the intensive care unit (ICU) of a category III-1 hospital in Lima, the sample will be composed of the same 65 nursing professionals since a census sample will be chosen. Methodological design: This scientific research is applied, in which the extracted data will come from an observational category field collection for the use of a prospective technique, the data collection will be transversal. Depending on the level of measurement, it is descriptive and correlative between the variables. Instruments: To measure the variable "Organizational Climate" the questionnaire prepared by the Ministry of Health (MINSA) in 2011, which has a reliability of Crombach Alfa of 0.87, and to measure the variable "Culture of Patient Safety" the Spanish version of the questionnaire Hospital Survey on Patient Safety Culture, an instrument adapted by the academic Dávila L. in 2016, with a reliability of Crombach’s Alfa of 0.99, will be used. The data collection technique will be the survey. Statistical processing and data analysis: using descriptive techniques and frequencies in terms of percentages, statistical analysis will be based on their parametric distribution (Pearson correlation) or non-parametric (Spearman’s Rho correlation).
