Ítem Acceso abierto Level of knowledge and attitudes about immunizations in mothers of children under three years old in a maternal and children’s center in Lima, 2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-12-03) Pillpe Huaman, Jeanneth Angelica; Molina Torres, Jose GregorioObjective: Determine the relationship that exists between the level of knowledge about immunizations and attitudes in mothers of children under three years of age at a Maternal and Child Center in Lima. Methodology: The study is quantitative, hypothetical-deductive, applied, non-experimental and correlational. The data collection method will be the survey, two instruments will be used: a questionnaire to measure mothers' knowledge about vaccination, developed by Beltrán et al. in 2020, and a scale to measure mothers' attitudes towards immunizations, developed by Damián and Díaz in 2022. Both instruments had a significance value of 0.001 (p=0.005) during validation. The authors' Cronbach's alpha values for reliability were 0.830 and 0.927, respectively. The sample will be made up of 80 mothers with children under three years old treated in the Immunization Strategy of a Maternal and Child Health Center in Lima, Peru. For data processing and descriptive analysis, tables and graphs will be used in the MS-Excel 2021 program and the SPSS-25 statistical package. In order to develop the inferential analysis, Spearman's Rho statistical test will be used to establish if there is a relationship between the variables.
