Publicación Acceso abierto Compatibilidad entre Calcio-Fósforo en prescripciones de nutrición parenteral del Servicio de Neonatología - Hospital Víctor Lazarte Echegaray, mayo a agosto 2022(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2024-10-02) Pinillos Armas, Cristian Herles; Ramos Jaco, Antonio GuillermoObjective: To determine the compatibility between calcium and phosphorus in parenteral nutrition prescriptions at the Neonatology Service of the Víctor Lazarte Echegaray Hospital, from May to August 2022. Methodology: A quantitative, deductive analysis with an observational, descriptive, retrospective, and cross-sectional design. Data collection was based on observation, and the instrument used was a data collection form applied to seventy-five medical records from the Neonatology Service of the Víctor Lazarte Echegaray Hospital, from May to August 2022. Results: The study shows that in newborns, the highest frequency (48.0%) was found among those weighing between 1500 g and 2400 g, and the lowest frequency (8.0%) among those weighing less than 1000 g. The percentage of newborns who received parenteral nutrition was determined according to calcium compatibility. and phosphorus is at greater compatibility (76.0%) and at greater incompatibility (24.0%). The percentage of newborns according to compatibility between Calcium-Phosphorus shows the concentration of those given with days of TPN are compatible because they are not outside the concentration limits. And the percentage of newborns according to the precipitation factor shows that concentrations less than or equal to 20, 30, and 35 exceed the precipitation on the compatibility of calcium and phosphorus. Conclusion: Compatibility between Calcium-Phosphorus was determined, showing compatibility (76.0%) and incompatibility (24.0%). According to the concentration of amino acids, there is compatibility at their established concentrations. According to the precipitation factor, they exceed the permitted limits.
